The Center for Evidence to Practice started offering free evidence-based program training to the Louisiana behavioral health workforce in 2019. Currently, we have a three-year Work Order with the Louisiana Department of Health-Office of Behavioral Health. Our training focus is evidence-based programs for children, adolescents, and their caregivers that address recovery from trauma, improving behavior, and strengthening family relationships. This EBP Training Timeline is subject to change at any time. Our goal is establishing long term sustainability of EBPs in the Louisiana Medicaid system, and we are constantly monitoring provider progress and identifying barriers to sustaining these models. EBP training offers may be adjusted to accommodate  community needs and practitioner interest in specific training.
