The Center for Evidence to Practice is offering a training on CPP and the Request for Applications (RFA) is now open as of February 3, 2025. Prior to the release of the RFA, the Center hosted an Informational Webinar about CPP on January 31, 2025 at 12pm-1pm CST for those interested in applying. A Question and Answer (Q&A) session followed. A previous webinar was also recorded and posted as a free course on our free online learning platform, E2P:Learn. We strongly encourage those who are considering applying and missed the webinar to take the free Intro to CPP course to learn more about the modality and application process. You can also get more information on the CPP RFA and training timeline by checking out our CPP webpage, linked HERE. The RFA deadline has been EXTENDED until later this Spring.

The Center is hosting another Motivational Interviewing Training Series starting in April 2025. This series will offer two installments of Introduction to Motivational Interviewing and Intermediate Motivational Interviewing. A training on CBT and Motivational Interviewing will also be offered. To learn more about the series check out the Motivational Interviewing webpage.

The Center for Evidence to Practice has released an EBP training opportunity for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) beginning in September 2025. For more information, you can visit the DBT webpage. Applications will open on April 21, 2025 and the deadline to apply will be Friday, May 30, 2025. The Center is offering an Advanced PCIT for Older Children training for clinicians who are trained in PCIT. This model is typically applied to children between ages 0-6 years, however this training will cover how to use the model for children aged 7-10 years. This training will be held on via Zoom on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 9:00am-4:30pmThis training opportunity is for PCIT Certified/Trained clinicians ONLY. Clinicians who are interested in joining this opportunity are encouraged to register for the call by clicking HERE

The Center is offering a training on Introduction to Trauma beginning in August 2025. This training is geared towards clinicians who are considering becoming trained in EBPs and it seeks to assist clinicians who work with clients who have experienced trauma. The training will have online learning components that include both asynchronous, independent study as well as synchronous, live training via Zoom. The Center for Evidence to Practice has released an EBP training opportunity for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) beginning in August 2025. For more information, you can visit the EMDR webpage. Applications will open on Thursday, May 15, 2025 and the deadline to apply will be Friday, June 20, 2025. The Center for E2P is offering a training on EMDR: Tapping Into Ethics for clinicians who are trained in EMDR, EMDR Basic Trained, or EMDR Certified. This training will be held IN-PERSON in New Orleans, LA, with a virtual participation option offered via Zoom on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 12:45pm-3:45pm CDT.
