Question 1: Does Evidence to Practice provide the materials that Triple P uses? Or are agencies/sole practitioners responsible for the purchase of the materials?

Answer: With the support of the state and the Center, we will provide all 20 trainees the materials needed to participate in the training at no charge. You do not need to pay for the materials yourself but we are going to need your address in a timely fashion so we can mail it to you before the first day of training.

Question 2: Level 4 seems to build on level 2 and 3, is that accurate?

Answer: If you’ve taken Triple P levels 2 and 3, then there will be some parts that are similar in the level 4 training, like the strategies, the principals. But it will go much more into depth on the activities that happen in level 4. So, there’s a much more thorough assessment process with families. It will go a lot into those observations and the practice sessions so kind of the process elements of level 4, which are quite different than what is done in level 2 and 3. You’ll be very set for having a good foundation and basis for what triple P is, and then and then ready to jump into this next process.

Question 3: As provisionally licensed, should we still apply in case you don’t reach max with licensed practitioners?

Answer: We do encourage provisionally licensed people to apply as we might not reach the maximum number of applicants who are licensed individuals.

Question 4: In regard to the consultations after the training, is there a minimum requirement of how many families you need to be working with for those calls?

Answer: No there is not a certain caseload- it really depends on your individual practice. There are several questions in the application just around what your caseload looks like and how that goes. But you don’t have to have a certain number on the case load to participate. The consultation calls are helpful for people actively seeing families. They benefit you the most if you can bring cases to the table.

Question 5: How can I apply to the Positive Parenting Program – Triple P (Level 4) training program?

Answer: You can apply by completing a Trainee Application and an Agency Agreement, BOTH must be completed and submitted to be considered for this training opportunity.
