The Center for Evidence to Practice is dedicated to supporting TF-CBT practitioners in Louisiana implement the modality and expand their practices. In alignment with this support, the Center has launched and TF-CBT Learning Community for practitioners who are TF-CBT Certified or working towards becoming TF-CBT Certified. Below is a video of this launch, lead by TF-CBT trainer, Kelly Wilson, LCSW.

Ways to Participate

The Center for Evidence to Practice is offering extension calls for TF-CBT trained clinicians who aim to become TF-CBT Certified.

Clinicians who meet the following criteria may join:

  • Have completed Learning Session 1 and 2 through the Center
  • Are still using the TF-CBT model
  • Have active TF-CBT cases
  • Have graduated at least 1 case
  • Desire to achieve TF-CBT Certified status

These calls will be held every third Thursday of every month at 10:00AM starting on January 16, 2025. You may join the calls by clicking on this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82078887369#success

Clinicians who have achieved TF-CBT Certified status or are eligible to apply for certification are also welcomed to join calls to support them post-certification. These calls will be held every third Tuesday of every month at 9:00AM starting on February 18, 2025. You may join these calls by clicking on this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82078887369#success

The Center for Evidence to Practice is hosting an advanced training titled Narrative for Complex Trauma, which is aimed at previous TF-CBT participants later in the Spring.
