In 2022 the Center for Evidence to Practice launched an initiative known as the Evidence-Base Practice (EBP) Capacity and Sustainability Funding Opportunity to incentivize clinicians who are trained/certified in evidence-based practices (EBPs) to using billing tracking codes when billing Medicaid to measure the use of EBPs across the state. Eligible participants received a bonus dependent upon: how many different EBPs were administered from their agency, how many clinicians at their agency billed for EBPs, and how many locations at which they offered EBPs. The findings from this initiative were published in this brief by The Center for Evidence to Practice in March 2023.
