TF-CBT Learning Community 2025 Kickoff

The Center for Evidence to Practice is dedicated to supporting TF-CBT practitioners in Louisiana implement the modality and expand their practices. In alignment with this support, the Center has launched and TF-CBT Learning Community for practitioners who are TF-CBT Certified or working towards becoming TF-CBT Certified. Below is a video of this launch, lead by TF-CBT trainer, Kelly Wilson, LCSW.

Ways to Participate

The Center for Evidence to Practice is offering extension calls for TF-CBT trained clinicians who aim to become TF-CBT Certified.

Clinicians who meet the following criteria may join:

  • Have completed Learning Session 1 and 2 through the Center
  • Are still using the TF-CBT model
  • Have active TF-CBT cases
  • Have graduated at least 1 case
  • Desire to achieve TF-CBT Certified status

  1. Qualification Standard – Certified Completion of an TF-CBT National Approved Training 

The Center for Evidence to Practice will soon start advertising to recruit our tenth cohort of TF-CBT trainees! Former trainees are permitted and encouraged to join the training as an auditor to refresh their understanding of the concepts of the model. Training dates for this upcoming training are as follows:

  • Part 1 Training: Tuesday-Thursday, October 28-30, 2025 from 9:00am-4:30pm CDT
  • Part 2 Training: Tuesday-Wednesday, February 10-11, 2026 from 9:00am-4:30pm CDT

Note: Full adhesion to our Training Guidelines and Expectation is NOT needed for auditing purposes as auditing for this training does NOT inherently offer continuing education credit. If you would like CE credit, you will need to follow all Training Guidelines and Expectations of the other trainees in attendance.
